ASPEN HYSYS ®
Aspen HYSYS™ is a market-leading process modelling tool for conceptual design, optimization, business planning, asset management, and performance monitoring for oil & gas production, gas processing, petroleum refining, and air separation industries. Aspen HYSYS is a core element of AspenTech’s aspenONE™ Process Engineering applications.
ASPEN HYSYS DYNAMICS™
Aspen HYSYS Dynamics™ is an integrated tool for dynamic simulation of oil and gas, gas processing, petroleum refining, and other industry processes. It extends Aspen HYSYS® steady-state models into dynamic process models, enabling design and verification of process control schemes, safety studies, relief valve sizing, failure analysis, and development of start-up, shut-down and operating mode changes. Aspen HYSYS is a core element of AspenTech’s aspenONE™ Process Engineering applications.
ASPEN HYSYS UPSTREAM
Aspen HYSYS Upstream Option provides industry standard methods and techniques for handling petroleum fluids and brings together the disciplines of petroleum and process engineering. Production field data can be input in an easy to use environment to create an asset wide model from the reservoir to the back end of the facility.
ASPEN HYSYS PETROLEUM REFINING (FORMERLY ASPEN REFSYS™)      
Aspen HYSYS Petroleum Refining layers powerful new features onto the Aspen HYSYS® process simulator to simplify and improve petroleum refining simulations. Based on the well-accepted Aspen HYSYS interface, Aspen HYSYS Petroleum Refining streams are driven with crude assays that support an extensive set of stream petroleum properties. Complex, multi-unit simulations can be quickly configured incorporating key units like the naphtha reformer or FCC and associated fractionation.
ASPEN HYSYS CRUDE   
Aspen HYSYS Crude enables the simulation of crude oil assays and crude columns. It characterizes the hydrocarbon fluid by determining the hypothetical components that make up the oil and predicts their thermo-physical and transport properties.
ASPEN FLARE SYSTEM ANALYZER (FORMERLY ASPEN FLARENET™)     
Aspen Flare System Analyzer enables engineers to perform steady-state design, rating, or debottlenecking of single or multiple flare and vent systems. The program can calculate minimum sizes for new flare systems or evaluate alternatives to remove bottlenecks in existing relief networks. Aspen Flare System Analyzer can also be used to identify potentially dangerous relief scenarios during design phase or current operational scenarios. Aspen Flare System Analyzer is a core element of AspenTech’s aspenONE™ Process Engineering applications.

Aspen Plus is a market-leading process modelling tool for design, optimization, performance monitoring and business planning for chemical/petrochemicals, specialty chemical, polymer, minerals/metals, and coal power industries.
ASPEN PLUS DYNAMICS® (FORMERLY ASPEN DYNAMICS®)       
Aspen Plus Dynamics extends Aspen Plus steady-state models into dynamic process models, enabling design and verification of process control schemes, safety studies, relief valve sizing, failure analysis, and development of startup, shutdown, rate-change, and grade transition policies.
ASPEN ENERGY ANALYZER (FORMERLY ASPEN HX-NET®)     
 The competitiveness of today’s markets and the focus on energy efficiency requires improved heat-integrated process designs. Aspen Energy Analyzer—working in concert with flowsheet simulators like Aspen Plus® and Aspen HYSYS®—provides an easy environment to perform optimal heat exchanger network design and pinch analysis.
ASPEN CUSTOM MODELER®                 
Aspen Custom Modeler is a process/equipment model development and simulation environment. Engineers use Aspen Custom Modeler (ACM) to quickly create rigorous models of processing equipment and to apply these equipment models to simulate and optimize continuous, batch, and semi-batch processes. It is used across many industries including: metals and minerals, chemicals, power, nuclear, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and consumer goods.

Aspen InfoPlus.21 collects and stores large volumes of process data for real-time and historical analysis and reporting. This process data repository forms the core of a plant and enterprise-level manufacturing integration platform, uniting data across process control, manufacturing operations, and business systems. With rich calculation, analysis and visualization tools and an object-oriented real-time application development environment, it delivers a flexible and effective performance management and analysis solution.
Aspen Model Runner™ 
Aspen Operator Training Simulator (OTS) offers a single integrated platform for process training and operator training simulators. It is a technology used by a network for building and deploying process training and OTS applications.
Aspen Online Deployment™ 
Aspen Model Runner enables model authoring engineers to deploy their models to a wider range of users at reduced costs while simultaneously protecting intellectual property contained within the model.
Aspen OTS Framework 
Aspen Online Deployment enables the use of models in plant operations for a wide range of real-time process monitoring, soft sensor, and operator advisory applications. Models are executed on a periodic schedule using conditioned on-line plant measurements. Model predictions are published to the historian to populate operator displays, or tracked for trend analysis.
Aspen Simulation Workbook™ 
Aspen Simulation Workbook provides easy and robust integration between AspenTech’s process simulators and Microsoft Excel, allowing users to deploy models to a wider range of users without writing a single line of code.

Economic Evaluation (ASPEN ICARUS)
This is an economic evaluation tool. It contains a wide array of mathematical models used to design
and evaluate project components (equipments, foundations, structures, piping, electrical,
instrumentation etc) for the engineering, procurement and construction of process facility.

Aspen Icarus Products includes:
  • Aspen Decision Analyzer: A comprehensive interactive knowledge based system that provides the basis for business investment decisions
  • Aspen Process Economic Analyzer: Integrated with process simulators to automatically import simulation models and expand them into full conceptual cost estimates, allowing for true optimization of process design from an overall lifecycle cost perspective.
  • Aspen Capital Cost Estimator: The Aspen Engineering Suite environment for economic evaluation to develop and evaluate total detailed project scope and project execution plans for projects worldwide.

Equipment Modelling

ASPEN SHELL & TUBE EXCHANGER
Aspen Shell & Tube Exchanger is meant for the design, checking, and simulation of shell and tube, double pipe, or multi-tube hairpin exchangers. It performs the design for all major industrial shell and tube exchanger equipment types and applications, including single phase, condensation, and evaporation.
Aspen Shell & Tube Mechanical
Aspen Shell & Tube Mechanical is used for complete mechanical design or rating of shell & tube heat exchangers and basic pressure vessels. It used for optimizing  thicknesses of the majority of exchanger components, including flanges, tubesheets, expansion joints, supports, cylinder thicknesses, and nozzle reinforcement. In rating mode, it determines if the component thickness for an existing exchanger are adequate for a given set of design temperatures and pressures
ASPEN AIR COOLED EXCHANGER (FORMERLY ASPEN ACOL+™)     
Aspen Air Cooled Exchanger is provided for the design, checking, and simulation of air-cooled or other cross flow heat exchangers. It performs the calculations for all common process applications, including single phase, condensation, and evaporation
ASPEN FIRED HEATER™  
It is a simulation program for the fire box and the convection sections of fired process heaters. It can be used to troubleshoot operational problems by identifying tube burnout or to identify best operating conditions given changes in feedstock or product specifications.
Aspen Plate Exchanger
Aspen Plate Exchanger is a single solution for the design, checking, and performance simulation of plate heat exchangers. This includes either gasketed plate & frame, welded, or brazed plate of the type used for general heating and cooling duties, including vaporization and condensation.
Aspen FRAN™
Aspen FRAN™ is used to simulate the performance of shell & tube feedwater heaters where boiler feed is heated by steam or condensate for power applications.
Aspen HTFS Research Network™
Aspen HTFS Research Network provides online access to comprehensive references to heat exchanger theory and practice, detailed derivation and comparisons of design methods, validation of design procedures, description of the technical methods used by the Aspen Exchanger Design & Rating thermal suite of products, and over 40 years of HTFS research. The Aspen HTFS Research Network is offered as specially licensed subscription service. This gives users access to a dedicated Web Site with comprehensive document archives which are updated at regular intervals.
Aspen Plate Fin Exchanger
Aspen Plate Fin Exchanger is the latest generation of thermal design software for the design, simulation and rating of multi-stream plate-fin heat exchangers. Plate-fin exchangers are vital to the profitable operation of many modern gas processing applications including large-scale LNG production.
